Draftsperson Job in Sunshine 3020, Victoria Australia

Due to company growth, they are currently seeking to expand their team with the addition of an experienced Draftsperson to commence immediately.
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager your core accountabilities will include but not limited to the following:
- Prepare costing for all special products and prepare requirements for purchasing/planning including Bill of materials
- Calculate figures to convert design dimensions to resizing dimensions specified for subsequent production processes
- Confers with RD personnel, sales staff to determine design modifications and enters editing information into computer
- Creates detail drawings for components, assemblies and sub-assemblies together with Bill of Material for issue to Production
- Write and maintain NC programs used on CNC production equipment
- Keys in specified information to produce graphic representation of design for review and approval by engineering and/or Sales staff
- Assist in the continuous improvement projects
Your core objective would be to utilise CAD and peripheral equipment to design, resize or modify integrated circuit designs (coils) and to generate drawings in 2D/3D for use in the manufacturing process.
It would be highly regarded if you had experience in a similar role, have used AutoCAD/ SOLIDWORKS and/or have a mechanical background.
