DRB - Relocation Center Consultant/Architect
Job description IBM is seeking an experienced Data Center Architect/Consultant that has experience with at least 5 years experience in Large, complex data center relocations as well as small scale projects. The Relocation Consultant/Architect performs in complex engagement teams in Data Center Relocations/Consolidations with potential significant DC Relocation, Server Consolidation and Server Optimization and virtualization content. This position will require the ability to define and manage the business drivers and associated system capabilities and services that are required for Data Migrations and consolidations, including cross tower dependencies and analysis with storage, data center consolidation, application migration, platform consolidation, server refresh, capacity management, and resiliency, etc. The Relocation Consultant/Architect will be expected to have working knowledge of Server Consolidation, Virtualization, and Optimization technologies, Network LAN/WAN technologies, methodologies and application rationalization and logical consolidation techniques.
