Leading Iron Ore Producer
This leading mining house is looking for Drill Blast Engineers to join them on a contract basis at one of their huge operations in the Pilbara. They are an industry leader with multiple operations across the region and a great reputation with employees and other stakeholders.
You key duties will be to provide technical advice and ensure successful execution of daily Drill and Blast activities. You will develop blast designs, liaise with the Geology and Production teams to ensure efficient drilling and ore recovery and seek out ways to improve performance and methodology.
You will possess a tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering and at least 3 years Drill Blast experience in an open pit mining environment. You will have a sound knowledge of blast design and the relevant software, specifically Vulcan. You will have a positive and open attitude and the ability to hit the ground running and face the challenges of this truly huge mine.
