-This is not a fly in/out position -Hours are Monday to Friday with some weekend work -Small fleet of Sandvik Drilling Rigs -Full time position Inc Travel, OT AL -Competitive remuneration package to be provided including vehicle,laptop and phone. Pacific Drilling Blasting is currently seeking to employ an experienced Leading Hand/Drill Rig Fitter to organise and maintain the company's fleet of machines and light trucks in QLD. Pacific Drilling Blasting operates mainly in construction and quarrying work around South- East Queensland and Northern NSW. Our workshop is based at Burleigh Heads and would ideally suit someone that is currently working in the bush who wishes to move back home to Queensland or someone who is looking for a sea change! To secure this position, the following criteria are essential; Heavy Diesel Trade Certificate (or equivalent); Substantial experience with Sandvik Ranger 800 or Pantera drill rigs; Demonstrated fault finding skills; Ability to work independently with limited supervision; Be able to work in a small team environment; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Computer literate.
