Driver and Application Specialist
Requirements:
· Software drivers for card devices such FPGAs, CPLDs, flash, etc.
· Knowledge of OSI layer 1 and layer 2 protocols and their software drivers, such AISG, LAPB/HDLC, UART, RS232, RS422, RS485, CPRI.
· Experience with base support packages (BSPs), board initialization software, joint HW/SW board bring-up, FPGA programming
· Knowledge of timing and delay management.
· C and/or C++ coding skills.
· Unix-based development environment.
· Real-time OS programming environment (OSE, VxWorks, Linux, etc.)
· Experience with SCM tool and methodology such as ClearCase/UCM is an asset.
· Software development for telecom wireline/wireless infrastructure equipment would be a strong asset.
· knowledge of frameworks, fault handling, messaging
