Drug Safety Physician Job
Job Overview:
- This position is necessary for the DSI to meet its corporate responsibilities to ensure all Pharmacovigilance/risk management activities for investigational drug and marketed products in accordance with standard operation procedures of DSI, as well as BIPI Management and Corporate Drug Safety and the IND and NDA regulations of the FDA.
- This is 1 year and cannot be worked remotely.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assessing individual clinical trial and spontaneous case reports for determining regulatory responsibilities
- Assessing seriousness, expectedness and comparing causality and querying for additional medical information needed to understand the event and determine causality
- Writing individual case assessments and interpreting aggregate safety data for periodic reports.
Job Qualifications:
Must have the following in order to be considered
- MD degree from US medical school
- Completed US internship and residency.
- Physician with internal medicine residency and some clinical practice.
- Also must have safety physician experience in PV department doing med review for single case processing.
- At least 1 year of clinical practice post residency.
- At least 2 years of experience in an MD role in a PV department of a pharmaceutical company.
- 1-2 yrs practice in internal medicine
- Will be doing post marketing and clinical trials.
- Pharmaceutical or CRO Medical Degree with US board certification to practice medicine.
- Individual case processing and assessment
