Dubai office – MENA Institutional Sales – Traditional Asset Management (Fixed Income); recruitment

The client are specialists in fixed income and liquidity management with over 200 investment professionals located in 8 countries managing a total AUM of $230 billion. Due to continued growth throughout the MENA region they are looking to bring on an experienced institutional sales person located in Dubai. Reporting directly in to the Head of MENA, the candidate will be responsible for overseeing the sale of the company’s products to an institutional client base across the Middle East. The main responsibilities will include:

• Identifying and targeting potential new investors from an institutional client base across the MENA region

• Developing and enhancing relationships with key clients to ensure continued investments in the business

• Working closely with colleagues across other global company offices in co-ordinating the business development efforts for products to the Middle East

• Reporting directly to the Head of MENA to ensure timely updates on the company’s business strategy in the Middle East

• Regular travel throughout the Middle East and to the UK

The ideal candidate for this position will likely demonstrate the following skills and experiences:

• A proven track record in selling a broad range of equity based strategies to an institutional client base in the Middle East, with a focus on fixed incomes and liquidity products

• A thorough knowledge and understanding of the equity asset class

• A background of building and developing relationships with institutional clients across the MENA region

• A pre-existing client base of institutional clients and HNW clients in the Middle East

• Experience of attending external client meetings, consultant meetings and new business presentations
