Due Diligence Coordinator recruitment

The Due Diligence Coordinator's primary activity will be to manage the flow of due diligence requests, lead the completion of due diligence responses and conduct due diligence meetings and conference calls for Franklin Square’s funds. As such, the candidate is expected to: (i) possess exceptional written and verbal communications skills, (ii) have prior experience in a financial, legal or equivalent field and (iii) demonstrate an ability to take ownership of assignments and produce a cogent, compelling, error-free work product, at times under tight time constraints.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate the flow of due diligence requests and manage the completion of due diligence questionnaires for Franklin Square’s funds.

• Gather and synthesize information from the various business groups within Franklin Square in order to develop exceptionally-written diligence responses for third-party broker-dealers and due diligence firms.

• Develop a deep understanding of and report on the legal, compliance, financial, and asset management areas of each fund and be able to articulately respond to questions from due diligence officers on the above subject matter.

• Assist in developing presentations for due diligence meetings with broker-dealers and due diligence firms.

• Assist National Accounts in establishing selling agreements with new broker-dealers and registered investment advisors.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

1.3-7 years of relevant experience (financial, legal, financial journalism or a related field).

2.4-year degree from a respected undergraduate institution.

3.Exceptional writing skills.

4.Strong attention to detail.  

5.Functional competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.  

Writing samples will be required from qualified candidates.

Compensation will be market competitive and will include a base salary with a performance-based bonus.
