Dutch Speaking Credit & Collections Specialist Job in Renfrew, Scotland UK
Our client is currently recruiting for a Dutch Speaking Credit and Collections Specialist at its base near Glasgow. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and dynamic individual to join a fast paced global organisation. This position will involve working as part of a shared services centre which offers some unique career opportunities for serious professionals.
The Role
- Perform and evaluate credit checks on new customer accounts according to company policy
- Check credit limits in place for all accounts within the designated countries and maintain credit limits in line with company policy.
- Proactively contact customers, primarily by telephone, in regard to payments to ensure invoice processing and payment has been scheduled; plan and prioritize customer calls regularly to maximise collections on the largest open invoices.
- Maintain on relevant systems collector call and invoice logs with status updates and follow up details.
- Work with local sales, and Team Leader to determine when accounts should be placed on hold.
- Log, review and monitor customer complaints, copy invoice requests.
- Various ad hoc responsibilities as assigned by Team Leader / Manager.
- Any other related tasks / duties as may be allocated from time to time.
Experience
- Requires a minimum of 2 years related experience ideally operating in a busy accounts receivable or customer service function dealing with Public as well as Commercial customers.
- Must demonstrate excellent computer skills; relevant software application proficiency strongly preferred.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving transactional issues and interacting effectively with team leaders and management required.
- Proven attention to detail and accuracy required.
