QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Develops, leads, manages and motivates staff.

·         Monitors staff performance, works with Human Resources on issues, works with employees to implement goals and document progress.

·         Ensures billing department creates and processes accurate invoices in a timely manner according to company processes and standards.

·         Develops and maintains production schedules.

·         Manages and controls billing system(s), researches system problems and works to resolve with IT staff.

·         Identifies areas of potential improvement within the billing system.

·         Develops and maintains service level agreements (SLA) with internal customers.

·         Supervises, reviews, researches and resolves customer-related inquiries according to SLAs.

·         Uses reporting to illustrate potential opportunities, issues or problems.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in business or related field with 1 to 3 years experience in a leadership role or an equivalent combination of education and experience

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

·         Requires strong management skills

·         Detailed knowledge of company’s billing operations including invoice processing methodology, billing systems, sales pipeline, and client database systems

·         Ability to identify, address and resolves employee related issues

·         Strong analytical, statistical, and problem solving skills

·         Ability to utilize judgment in decision making process and decisions related to job tasks

·         Ability to meet tight deadlines

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office, i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Visio with focus on Excel and Access

·         Excellent skills in communicating ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise and professional manner including presentations

·         Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management in an organized, professional manner

·         Skill in productivity, planning, and workload management

·         Ability to design, document, and implement process improvements

·         Strong system management/control experience
