Our client is a highly successful and profitable financial services business now looking to improve and develop its products range and services, as well as its customer journey and become a household brand name. As a result, it is now increasing its Marketing function to support these aims.
The E-Business manager is responsible for optimising the sales functionality of our clients group’s web site(s) and the whole online customer experience. They will be the driving force behind the development, maintenance and evolution of online and digital functionality and propositions in line with industry developments and the business plans of our client group.
Key results areas:
Volume of prospects, leads and customers via on line channels
Seamless on line customer experience in lien with our brand propositioning and target customer groups.
Top ranking SEO positions for the core products and services of the client
Achievement of target volumes from PPC activity and affiliates.
Proactive research and communication of industry developments
Driving effective engagement with the client brand via on-line and digital channels.
Evidence of best practice team working with other areas of the business (specifically Marketing, Product, IT, and Business Development) in order to achieve the overall business goals.
Experience and skills required:
You will be an experienced E-Commerce Manager (having worked in a customer focused industry) with 5+ year’s recent experience.
You will have best in class web site development sills alongside a strong practical understanding of how media such as SEO, PPC and Affiliates programmes work effectively.
Proven track record of developing and continually improving online and digital performance reporting
Proven track record of developing online and digital functionality to drive maximum customer value.
Strong natural desire to keep abreast of the continually evolving online and digital arena.
You have a strong commercial understanding helping you to drive the business forward and you will thrive in a dynamic and busy environment.
You will have strong team building and leadership capabilities.
You will bring imagination and a new depth of ideas and creativity, a sales innovator with proven business acumen to match.
Sound judgement and ability to make decisions without reference above.

You must have excellent analytical, issue spotting skills.
