No Security Clearance Required about security clearance definitions Position Description The Product Manager is a member of the e-Business group in the Commercial Aviation Services (CAS) Information Services organization. The e-Business group is responsible for envisioning, designing and delivering capabilities and experiences across the MyBoeingFleet secure web portal and other internal and customer facing web properties in support of the CAS organization. MyBoeingFleet provides Boeing customers, maintenance service providers, regulatory agencies, and internal support teams access to technical and non-technical information through research, collaboration, and procurement tools essential to operating and maintaining Boeing aircraft. This Product Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with business partners, understanding their strategies and objectives, identifying opportunities to leverage e-Business capabilities, and leading various projects. This role will lead initiatives through their entire cycle, from concept to business requirements, to working with the technical team to ensure the requirements are satisfied, to sign off on product delivery and appropriate communications to stakeholders and customers. This role is the voice of the Boeing business and will be instrumental in product management including vision, strategy and road mapping. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record for leading complex and concurrent e-Business/e-Commerce products. Essential Duties and Responsibilities *Develop trusted relationships with cross-functional business units and a strong understanding of their business processes, goals, and opportunities to capture customer information and use it to drive business decisions. *Serve as the voice of the business and advocate in technology discussions and decisions. *Author business requirements documents to articulate business unit initiatives, customer needs, competitive feature gaps, business cases and required metrics. *Make sound trade-offs of scope, time budget to support the development process. *Develop and maintain strong working relationships with technology teams to ensure a shared vision and strategy. *Define and monitor appropriate metrics and key performance indicators to measure performance to goals. *Communicate and champion the long-range e-Business product development strategy and roadmap. *Participate in and lead meetings with business leaders to establish priorities, communicate process progress of current projects and discuss analysis findings. *The candidate must possess the ability to develop consensus among disparate stakeholders with different objectives and goals.
