E Commerce Business Analyst recruitment

Web analytics champion with strong auditing, reporting and strategic recommendations.

• Ability to analyse and report on all of our marketing and trading campaigns to offer insight into results and recommend strategic changes.

• Produce accurate and insightful feedback on activity and service initiatives.

• On the basis of your analysis, offer sound business advice on successes and failures to highlight opportunities to improve current performance and strategy.

• Offer the ecommerce marketing teams valuable knowledge and insight of our business so that they can capture and capitalise on all opportunities through their channels.

• Aide the Head of Online Marketing and Head of Ecommerce understand key daily, weekly, monthly and YTD web stats to improve performance across all their functions.

• Create new reports and analysis where required.

• Create and validate mobile and website tracking

• Consolidate multiple reports and automate production with Excel and Word VBA macros, improving efficiency and accuracy of the teams.

• Workshop with key supporting colleagues to help raise standard of reporting across the general teams.

• Ensure the reporting suite highlights key priorities, has clear building blocks and tactical actions to ensure the teams implement your suggestions successfully.

• Evaluate progress against key milestones and site developments proposing alternative solutions where necessary to achieve desired profit goals.

• Track and manage the Retention Marketing Programme along with the Customer Acquisition programme through all of our marketing channels.

• Work with our Planning Director teams to understand under-performance on the site to ensure we communicate improvements effectively.

• Be able to spot any tracking or changes required with vendors to ensure business is capturing full suite of trend data.

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS:

Good numerical skills

Competent using excel, formulae, graphs,  macros etc

Good experience using advance web analytics packages such as Coremetrics , Omniture Site Catalyst, Google Analytics, Discover on Premise, WebTrends and Hitwise.

Business Intelligence: SAS, Cognos, Business Objects, Proclarity etc

EXPERIENCE:

3+ years in an E-tailing and Direct environment – must have at least 2 years using Analytics and analyst skills to drive a commerce business (agency or client side)

Experience working with multiple departments and ability to tailor information to be relevant for each

Hands on approach attitude

Detailed working knowledge of online marketing and operations
