The scale and pace of change in the Internet economy continues to accelerate. Our clients across the Products industry sector place increasing focus on e-Commerce to grasp the power of the internet and build their businesses. The rise of mobile technology, analytics and social media tools generates an increasing need to integrate experiences across channels and leverage flexible, scalable and secure technologies.

As an e-Commerce Consultant you will work as part of a team that identifies the most innovative e-Commerce capabilities for their clients and work to implement the required technologies. You will have the opportunity to be involved in projects on the cutting edge of e-Commerce with clients that are household names.

Currently working as a Business Analyst or external consultant in a Products industry sector, you will have existing experience of e-Commerce and/or Digital technology projects and the drive and ambition to take this to the next level. An all-rounder that is equally comfortable discussing the client's business objectives as well as the available technology options, you have a proven track record of working in successful project teams and are excited about working in stretching roles against challenging time frames.

Professional Skills

- You will have previous experience of working for a UK Products industry (retail, consumer goods, travel transportation), either directly or as a consultant
- Strong experience of project work and IT led change
- Excellent degree results or equivalent
- Strong problem-solving, statistical and analytical skills
- Excellent leadership potential, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Experience of working in an eCommerce delivery team
- Ability to work with (and manage) key stakeholders in the client

Your base location will be London, although many of the consultants work on lengthy client engagements within the UK and Ireland. Therefore you must be willing to work away from home Monday to Friday as required.

e-Commerce Technical Skills:

Proven experience in the design and development of 'Business to Consumer' eCommerce solutions.

Specific knowledge of the following will be an advantage:

- Java enterprise solutions on the ATG platform.
- Business Analysis: Business Requirements Analysis, Functional and Technical Design.
- System Architecture: Distributed Web Systems Architecture, J2EE, SOA.
