e-Learning Web Programmer

The e-Learning Programmer is responsible for providing programming/interactive element solutions for the development of new web-based online training materials and the redesign of legacy distance learning content. Working collaboratively in a team environment with SMEs, instructional designers, Web developers, graphic artists, and technical writers, the incumbent will have the opportunity to be part of a creative and dynamic e-learning team. Must obtain a Secret Clearance to work on this program - US Citizenship is required!

Essential Job Functions

Provide web-based programming support for all formal e-learning courseware and student portal, informal learning efforts to include integrated integrates artwork, text, video, and sound.

Work collaboratively with instructional design teams to meet deadline and quality requirements for web-based learning.

Publish e-learning content to the delivery environments in a timely manner, e.g., to Plateau LMS and Liferay CMS.

Support new or existing content learning management system operations and procedures.

Quickly resolve issues or problems with the delivery of content that affect students or instructors.

Maintain the currency of existing and newly developed Web-based, e-learning content.

Work well within standard software development processes.

Ensure that content is functional across different browser types; conducts tests to verify user functionality.

Create test plans and reports test results.

Work with outside vendors as necessary
