e-Marketing Content Associate recruitment
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Help organize and manage content for organization’s web properties within the Elkton 400 CMS platform.
- Help execute (and improve the quality of) all mass e-mail marketing campaigns for multiple business channels.
- Help improve Search Engine Optimization (SEO) for all web properties.
- Help further the organizations use of social media.
- Help promote a consistent look and feel throughout all web properties.
- Assure that all web-based information is archived for future needs and reference.
- Track and report monthly on website and email marketing metrics.
- Work cooperatively with key team members, clients and vendors.
- Work with a cross-departmental team, maintain and develop the master content calendar for all web properties.
- Keep current with emerging web technologies through relevant blogs, listservs, and events.

Qualifications:
- A strong understanding of e-mail marketing best practices, and a proven track record of developing and executing successful, high volume e-mail marketing campaigns. Experience working with Content Management Systems, in particular, Ektron 400 CMS.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite programs, including Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Indesign, and Illustrator, and Microsoft Office software programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of Web programming and coding including HTML, XML, ASP, and W3C standards.
- Understanding of the web development/production cycle, including knowledge of cross-browser/platform issues.
- Must be comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment with changing priorities; self-sufficient while being detail-oriented and motivated to excel; well organized with strong analytic and problem-solving skills. Must be able to project manage exceptionally well and communicate daily progress to the Director of e-Marketing.
- The ability to troubleshoot and resolve unexpected design and programming issues quickly and efficiently, and to work both in a team and independently on high priority assignments is essential.
- Well organized with strong analytic and problem-solving skills and be able to contribute to “big picture” strategic plans regarding site usability, navigation, content management, adoption of new technologies, etc.
- Experience in the mutual fund or a related financial services industry, with a focus on Internet/Web marketing, including content development is a plus. Experience in technical and/or online writing, journalism, marketing or public relations a plus.
Education and/or Experience
- Four-year College or equivalent education and experience. A degree in English, History, Economics, Communications, Journalism, Philosophy, Graphic Design, and/or Computer Science, a plus.
- 2-4 years of related work experience, preferably within the Financial Services Industry.
