JOB TITLE: E-Marketing Manager
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
· Develop, implement and maintain the long-term roadmap for eMarketing
.
o Up to date with new online trends and able to transfer these into Optoma’s online marketing strategies fitting into the entire marketing roadmap
o Able to consult the marketing teams regarding eMarketing strategies
o Ability to write convincing strategy papers that will influence people
· Responsible for owning the user experience for Optoma’s entire web presence, including corporate web sites, PartnerVizion (customer/reseller community), Education First (Education market community) and Marketing Site.
o Research best practices and gather user feedback to determine user requirements and preferences for redesigning existing web sites and creating new web sites/pages.
o Provide strategic recommendations on the functionality, content, look and feel for all Optoma sites/pages.
· Work with channel managers and be responsible for all online marketing projects
o Design, execute, and optimize eBlast communications by testing the content and analyzing the result
o Able to segment the database and nurture leads to help business units successfully transform the email lists into sales or reach other campaign goals
o Able to manage the e-marketing database and keep it running smoothly and up-to-date
o Work with channel manager and design banner programs/ landing pages/ other ad materials on other websites to optimize Optoma’s presence and programs on different sites
· Responsible for Optoma’s presence on social media communities, including Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin,Youtube, and Wikipedia to meet the marketing goals
o Build stronger relationship with the online community
o Utilize the platforms to create buzz and spread the brand reputation out
o Drive traffic to optomausa.com
o Generate potential leads for further growth
· Responsible for driving traffic to Optoma’s corporate web sites and PartnerVizion site and analyzing online metrics.
o Research, plan, and execute SEO, SEM and web analytics best practices to improve website traffic and ranking.
o Develop strategy and execute eMarketing initiatives to drive traffic and create buzz.
o Manage the planning and execution of online advertising.
· Manage Optoma’s online branding and messaging on third party web sites, including online retailer sites, projector portal sites and online communities.
o Work with channel managers and creative team to provide the most appropriate enriched content for online retailer sites
o Monitor and manage Optoma’s brand and product presence on websites
· Develop new web functionalities and recommend new technical features together with the other team members
o Collaborate with external vendors to write and approve specifications and manage the relationship with third parties.
o Perform quality assurance testing of new web functionality
o Work with IT team to develop and manage 3rd party FTP protocol.
· Support Salesforce Marketing collateral and functions as required.
· Perform other tasks as required.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
· 1-3 years of experience in eMarketing, eCommerce, direct marketing, social media marketing and front-end/user interface design.
· Superior knowledge of current eMarketing and Web design trends and techniques.
· Experience implementing search engine optimization and web analytics best practices required.
· Knowledge of email marketing best practices and CAN SPAM compliance
· Strong project management and multi-tasking ability is required
· HTML/ FTML, A/B test experience preferred.
· Good spoken and written English in order to communicate with team members, sales team, and third party teams.
· User experience with Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn and Flickr required.
· Cutting-edge knowledge of social media networks preferred.
· User-experience with Salesforce a plus.
· Attention to detail, customer-service orientation, and creativity in problem-solving.
· Ability to work in a team and to communicate in an effective, non-confrontational manner
· Strategy or management consulting experience a plus
· HTML code, keyword research and web content creation a plus
