E-MARKETING MANAGER recruitment
The successful candidate will be accountable for the end to end online customer experience. They will design, develop and deliver innovative online marketing strategies to promote the products and services of the Company. This will be done in a way which exceeds customer needs, is profitable to the Company and shows measurable benefits in terms of client conversion, retention and activation.
Core Responsibilities:
- To proactively contribute to the Company’s online and website strategy development and delivery.
- To develop an annual online marketing plan to support the annual Company Product Marketing Plan.
- Lead the design and development of successful consumer and adviser websites for the Company including content management.
- Responsible for managing all paid search (PPC) activity and optimising web content for search engine optimisation (SEO).
- Responsible for E-Direct Marketing including the creation and management of e-mail lists and campaign data.
- Responsible for developing and managing digital advertising and online marketing campaigns.
- Monitor, measure and report the effectiveness of all online marketing activity and ensure effective ROI.
- Lead the development of online client communications including marketing, service, application and regulatory communications.
- To ensure these communications work with their offline equivalents where appropriate.
- Design and develop the online customer journey to ensure conversion of prospects to clients and to retain and activate existing clients where appropriate.
- Domain name management; aggregator and affiliate services and provision of other e-commerce solutions.
- Ensure all communications are FSA compliant and meet the regulations.
- Adhere to Data Protection at all times.
- Ensure all work is appropriately signed off by any relevant business areas, legal team and the Compliance function using the agreed sign-off procedure.
- To report to their line manager knowledge of any risks that are not already recognised and recorded.
- To report, both to their line manager and the Risk Manager, any actual operational risk events or “near misses” that occur.
Core Skills:
- Good written and oral communication ability.
- To have the ability to organise and prioritise work.
- To be able to liaise with the design staff to achieve consistency of style/colour and accuracy with regard to the organisation’s E-Marketing and online communications.
- To be well organised with an attention to detail.
- To be able to work under pressure to tight deadlines and work collectively with members of staff from all departments.
- Good understanding of social media.
Core Requirements:
- Proven online marketing experience, ideally in a financial services environment.
- Understanding of E-Marketing tools and techniques including natural and paid search.
