E-trading Technical Business Analyst

A leading global Investment Bank is looking to hire an E-trading Front Office Business Analyst to assist with their trading system implementation
Must have the following skills: FRONT OFFICE, trading, straight through processing (STP), execution, technical business analysis expertise, trading systems, broker applications, full trade life cycle Rates, FX, Credit, Derivatives or Commodities
MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN AU
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Business requirements gathering and documentation - working closely with the Business and the IT team
- Implementing both thin and thick client applications
- Responsible for producing both detailed technical/functional business requirements documents
- Establishing data feeds through standard and FIX APIs
- Integrating data feeds into downstream trading application streams
- Successful candidate will be working closely with development teams assisting with any build/development work allocations
- Reviewing, analysing and pulling data from both front end and back end of the systems
- Process/system analysis and solution definition - working with IT to define solution architecture in line with business requirements and operating model principles.
Successful candidate must have the following experience:
- Proven Technical Business Analysis experience gained within Investment Banking environment
- Trading broker application experience (e.g. Bloomberg, ICAP, Tradeweb etc)
- Experience with books and records systems as well as Straight Through Processing (STP) between systems
- Understanding the e-trading applications from a front end user perspective (i.e. how to execute trades) as well as a back end perspective with an ability to integrate the data feeds into downstream systems
- Must have experience working with Credit, Rates, Commodities or FX
- Must have detailed Documentation experience - able to draft detailed technical/functional requirements as well as business, and relevant governance documentation relevant to productionisation/ service transition requirements
- Stakeholder and vendor management skills
- Understanding of process methodologies with project and systems development life cycle experience.
- Ability to lead and manage detailed analysis work independently
