Job Title:  Executive Assistant to the Chief  Financial Officer, International
Division: Corporate Finance
Location: London
Reporting to:  Chief Financial Officer, International

Purpose of Role:
This executive assistant position supports the International Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for State Street’s international businesses.  The International CFO reports to the Corporate CFO with a dual reporting to the Vice Chairman.  The International CFO provides leadership and direction for a staff of 450 in 20+ countries regarding the overall control, financial management, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, regulatory reporting, tax, and strategic financial planning for State Street’s business in Europe and Asia Pacific.

Specific Duties:
Primary duty involves partnering with the CFO to drive execution of the CFO’s responsibilities.  Specific duties for the assistant include:
•Diary management
•Arranging meetings and conference calls
•Preparing meeting agendas and presentations
•Tracking deliverables and milestones
•Booking travel and filing expense reimbursements

The role may also  provide back up support for other executive assistants.

Technical and Education Requirements:
•Proficiency in Micro Soft suite of products:  Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel. 
•Candidate should be proficient with conducting internet searches and embrace innovation and new ways of conducting business and improving processes.
•Secretarial school or equivalent post-secondary education.
•Extensive secretarial/administrative experience.

The candidate should be a self-motivated professional with experience as a personal / executive assistant and have the following profile:
•High level of attention to detail and high degree of integrity
•Strong team player with consistent positive attitude
•Highly organized with an ability to anticipate requirements
•Takes the initiative and works calmly and efficiently under pressure and deadlines and follows all projects through to completion
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong relationship management skills
