EAI Support Analyst
My FTSE 100 Fund Manager is looking for a Support Analyst to join their Data Support Team. They will be required to focus on the Java ESB based messaging systems delivered by the EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) team to provide both technical and business focussed support.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide first/second line support for issues that relate to EAI systems
• Communicate with business and other IT teams to address issues
• Provide out of hours support on a rota basis for supported systems
• Help to ensure company standards are applied across support
• Work to resolve issues through knowledge and understanding of tools available
The candidate must have previous experience of working in support within the Investment Management space, with an understanding of asset classes so that they can communicate with users well. They must also be able to work well within a team.
Essential Skills
• Strong SQL (ideally Oracle)
• Strong understanding of JMS
• Familiar with Java from support perspective
• Experience supporting ESB or integration framework
• Basic Unix scripting skills
