EAME Pricing Manager* / Analyst* Job in Dübendorf 8600, Zürich Switzerland
Core Responsibilities
Manage constructive and proactive partnership with all key market stakeholders in the pricing process with 'Pricing for Profitable Win Approach'.
To qualify for the Manager level you will have between 6 to10 years of experience and for the Analyst level between 3 to 5 years of experience.
Responsible for timely and quality Price Setting and Maintenance
- Support the Regional Pricing Head to develop the right market pricing strategy
- Manage on going pricing activities such as computing standard pricing of flavour products, maintaining price lists, providing target costs and price monitoring processes
- Provide pricing recommendations for briefs to Sales groups with supporting analysis, coordinate pricing process for identified and accountable key accounts
- Provide price negotiations support and present to customer price increase rational
- Manage Delegation of Authority (DoA) process (pricing escalation process)
Monitor, protect and improve Gross Margin
- Define action recommendations to avoid gross margin erosion
- Analyze regularly achieved gross margin and identify product cost issues and address these with Procurement, Operations, Finance Technical groups as appropriate
- Analyze regularly target margin and identify adjustment proposals
- Manage annual price increases and adjustments for significant raw material impact, manufacturing cost changes or margin improvement on existing products
Guarantee Compliance with the Pricing Policies and Guidelines
- Support definition, documentation, implementation and maintenance of pricing related guidelines and principles
- Ensure Data maintenance and quality in all Pricing processes and systems
Others
- Support the Regional Pricing head in all requests / initiatives / projects relative to the market and ensure roll out of the regional / global projects and process improvement initiatives in their market.
- Validate new rebate and agent agreement contracts, perform financial impact analysis and review agent commissions
- Support Customer service excellence on pricing / order issues

Primary Qualifications (education / experience)
- University degree in Business, Finance or relevant areas
- 3-10 years' experience in pricing or finance, account management or sales coordination role
- Understanding of pricing mechanisms including profitability, ideally pricing experience
- Proficient in communicating in English; German is a plus
- Proven ability to deal with complex IT systems
- Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office
- Preferably previous SAP experience
