About The Organisation:
The centre is located on a beautiful, large block of land in Ashfield, and caters for 120 children per day across 3 individually licensed centres.
The service caters for 70% mainstream and 30% additional needs children / children from vulnerable backgrounds, and provides a range of additional support workers including special needs teachers, therapists and early intervention workers.
About The Role:
This position will be working as the 2 - 3's room leader, with a group of trained and experienced assistants. You will have the support of the centre director and administration staff.
You will be responsible for the day to day running of the room, including planning and programming, EYLF, daily routines, activities, observations and portfolios, staff management, parent liaison, and communication with the various additional support workers.

Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate will -
- hold their completed Early Childhood Teaching degree
- hold a current First Aid certificate
- be confident leading a team of up to 4 staff
- have a solid understanding of the EYLF and NQF
- be confident dealing with families, support staff and community members on a day to day basis
Ideally you will have some experience working with additional needs children, however this is not essential.
