About The Centre:
This 66 place service located in Bankstown is due to open in January of 2012. Catering for children aged 0 - 5 across 4 rooms, they pride themselves on providing high quality care and education in a safe, fun and stimulating environment.
The centre will cater for both mainstream and some additional needs children, and will provide the support and expertise of trained and experienced support workers and therapists.

About The Role:
This is a non-teaching directing position responsible for the management of up to 17 staff. You will be responsible for the day to day running of the service, including handling parent enquiries, enrolments and orientations, liaising with additional support staff, and ensuring ratios and staffing levels. You will also be responsible for ensuring the centre meets company and national requirements.
You will have the support of your experienced area manager and centre administration assistant.

Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate will -
- hold their completed Early Childhood Teaching degree
- hold a current (or be eligible to obtain) authorised supervisor number
- hold a current First Aid certificate
- be confident leading a team of up to 17 staff
- be experienced in a centre management role
- be confident dealing with families, support staff and community members on a day to day basis
Ideally you will ahve some experience working with additional needs children, however this is not essential.
