Early Childhood Lead Teachers/Teaching Assistants
Thompson Child Family Focus is a nonprofit organization that provides a continuum of treatment, care, education and support to North Carolina children and families in crisis or challenged by at-risk lifestyles and environments. The nationally accredited organization is a leading provider of effective clinical mental health treatment for abused and neglected children, developmental early childhood education, child abuse prevention/intervention programs, and professional development and training/technical assistance programs for early childhood centers. The focus of Thompson’s continuum is to ensure that fragile children and those children who have suffered abuse, neglect and abandonment find help and healing. Another primary goal is that families or caregivers receive the supports they need. Thompson programs positively affect more than 5,500 children and families every year.

LEAD TEACHER
Seeking a Lead Teacher motivated to obtain a wonderful teaching experience involving the promotion of growth and healing to children at all levels of child development. Must have ability to work with total staff to promote physical, social, cognitive, spiritual and emotional well-being of the children we serve through holistic daily programs designed to enhance healthy age appropriate development. Must have knowledge of regulations governed by NC Division of Child Development, Mecklenburg County Health Department and NAEYC standards. Required education and skills: Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood or related field, or Associates Degree in Early Childhood, and 2 years experience with birth-5 yr. required. Credentials I II preferred.
TEACHING ASSISTANT
State of the Art Nationally Accredited Child Development Center is seeking a Teaching Assistant for a wonderful teaching experience involving all levels of child development. Must have the ability to work with total staff to promote the physical, social, cognitive, spiritual, and emotional well-being of the children we serve through holistic daily programs designed to enhance healthy age-appropriate development. Must have knowledge of regulations governed by NC Division of Child Development, Mecklenburg County Health Department and NAEYC standards. Required education and skills: Course work in Early Childhood Education and 2 years of experience in Early Childhood setting. AA in Early Childhood Education preferred.
