Job Summary The position of echocardiographer performs ultrasound of the heart-a highly technical study of the cardiac anatomy. Qualifications and Requirements Education Background: This position requires completion of a certified ultrasound training program and the employee is required to be RDMS certified or eligible. Work Experience: This position requires 2-years related professional experience. License or Certification: Current CPR Healthcare Provider certification by date of hire. The employee must be RDMS certified or RDMS eligible. This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement between Evergreen Hospital Medical Center and the United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW), Local 21 which contains a "union security" provision. This means that, as a condition of employment, you must join the union and pay union dues and any required fees within 30 days of your date of hire.
