ECM/Corporate Broking Analyst recruitment

My client is looking to hire an analyst to support the wider client and origination teams in the sourcing and maintaining of client relationships and transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

A) Client Activity:

• Assist senior team members in providing guidance on the application and interpretation of FSA Rules, AIM Rules, Takeover Code and Corporate Governance / Investor Guideline.

• Assist senior team members in liaising with the UK Listing Authority, AIM and Takeover Panel

• Maintaining strong direct relationships with clients

• Delivering corporate broking advice to clients

• Assisting with transaction execution

• Assist senior team members in advising on developing and promoting the investment proposition for clients in addition to strategic advice on capital structure and corporate activity

• Liaising with Equity Sales and Research to distribute offerings and gather feedback plus other product groups within the bank.

B) Team Activity:

• Writing pitch books and other client presentations

• Producing market updates

• Preparing origination materials to include executive summaries, market and sector updates, transaction structure overviews, offer size considerations, timetable options and credentials

• Write and distribute weekly / monthly equity reports for internal / external clients

• Maintain European IPO, rights issues and other databases

• Compile regular European origination and execution activity reports for senior management

Competencies:

• Previous proven experience within the ECM and Corporate Broking sector

• Good working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint

• Common knowledge of banking information databases

Education and/or Experience:

• Degree level or better qualification;

• FSA registered/approved person preferred
