Economic Analyst/Business Development Manager – Infrastructure recruitment

Global Power Engineering Construction group are looking to hire an experienced Economic Analyst/Business Development Manager to help them assess future business opportunities within Construction Infrastructure across the Middle East/North Africa region. This position works closely with the General Manager of Business Development and is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong economic and new business analysis experience within Engineering and Construction in the Middle East to further their career within a global market leader.

Based in Abu Dhabi, you will develop analytical business models and produce reports to analyse potential new business opportunities - these reports will have both quantitative and qualitative assessments within them so it is essential that you are comfortable with both. You will also look at Market Analysis for individual countries to assess optimal prices, rate structures and projected demand levels. This position will give you the opportunity to be involved at a senior level in corporate development of business opportunities, joint ventures, acquisitions and divestitures so is a strong position for someone looking to further their career within this area.

You will need to have a strong knowledge of the Middle East/North Africa region and the status of the Construction Infrastructure industry within this region. It is expected that you will have significant experience in an analysis position where you have applied economic, financial, market and/or statistical analysis to support business decisions and presenting these findings to senior management. Our suggestion is that you will have around 10 years of experience in an analytical position. You will also have a Bachelor's degree or higher in economics, business, finance or a mathematical discipline.
