Economic Capital Process Manager recruitment
In this position you are the end to end process owner for Economic Capital Management production process, particularly RBC, SST and Solvency II. You will drive process improvements and will be responsible for process and control documentation in accordance with Zurich's internal control framework (ICF) standards.
You will define the end-to-end business process including all in- and out-going interfaces for Economic Capital Model results. Together with the key input providers you will ensure delivery of timely and high quality information to Group Treasury and Capital Management. As part of the Economic Capital Modeling team you will monitor adherence to the agreed production processes, identify key risks, issue and escalate them to management as appropriate. Further you will build on a strong process management and process improvement background, identify areas where the processes can be improved to allow for earlier delivery and/or higher quality of results.
This challenging position requires a university degree in business administration, finance or accounting, five or more years experience in insurance or consulting for insurance, accounting qualification and/or LEAN qualification (or similar) and experience with ICF. Excellent process and project management skills, strong knowledge of economic capital modeling, insurance risks and accounting, good communication skills and process implementation skills are expected. The ideal candidate is fluent in English, familiar with MS Office and project management tools.
