Working within a specialist team of Economists, you will have the opportunity to work on a range of topics and provide expertise to the broader department. Due to an increased workload, there are opportunities available at a range of levels of experience.
A background in economics, along with experience developing public policy, is considered essential to your success in the position. Your prior work history in an economic government agency or consulting to government will be highly regarded.
Additionally, exposure to subject matter such as energy, agriculture, climate change or water will hold you in good stead.
