Economist l Hong Kong, Asia recruitment
This is an excellent opportunity for an Economist with circa 5 - 8 years of experience to take the lead role for Asia working with the CIO and providing top down analysis to the Investment team.
Your responsibility will cover the full Asia Pacific region including Japan, Australia and New Zealand. You will Chair weekly meetings giving the macro perspective of the market and provide quarterly updates on the Asian markets to the Investment team and senior management. You will also play a strong part in Asset Allocation and helping to manage overall investments.
Experience required:
- Excellent high level education in Economics or related field.
- 5-8 years experience working as a sell side Economist providing top down analysis on at least 2+ countries in the APAC region.
- Global markets understanding/awareness - Europe/US.
- Ideally will come from a Fixed Income bias background but open to all assets.
- Excellent communicator in English
