Economist / Macro Prudential
This is for a newly established team focusing on banking insurance systems as a whole. This will be global with the team based in London.
Building out scenarios for the world economic outlook you would take a leading role in developing the methodology and standardisation for various global regions, in order to stress-test and evaluate various global risks.
We seek a candidate who has the modelling skills of an economist (eviews level is fine), but also understands some of the granular issues of the banking and insurance industry.
The team, in which you would have oversight of ~4 associates is tasked with building a global system for monitoring bank asset quality etc. You would be the co-author of the reports for external and internal clients. And this client focused work will involve occasional travel.
- MSc/PhD likely with proven econometrics
- Experience of managing a team useful
- As is detailed knowledge of insurers/banks.
- 7-10 years experience likely
