Economist, Macro Research recruitment
Responsibilities:
As a member of the macroeconomic research team,
•Monitor Chinese economic, policy and market developments,
•Analyze economic data and trends, conduct research using Excel and econometric tools, and write regular reports and analysis
•Communicate team’s macro views to clients, sales, and other internal and external audience
•Interact with clients, external experts and government agencies
Requirement:
•Strong economics background. A Ph.D or Masters degree in economics is preferred, degree in finance or statistics with solid understanding of economic concepts and models will also be considered.
•Excellent spoken and written English and Mandarin skills
•Strong analytical skills, attention to details
•Good understanding of Chinese economy, and relevant experience (in other financial institutions or research entities) desirable
•A strong team player who is able to work independently with little supervision
