Economists recruitment
Arbitrage currently has roles across the board, in small and mid-sized banks, global banks, mid-size hedge funds as well as the largest hedge funds in global macro, similarly with the roles at a variety of asset management clients. Seniority ranges from 2 years experience to Chief Economist level.
Almost all roles require MSc or PhD Economics/Econometrics.
Current roles for example: macro-quant (MatLab/R), US Economist, Europe Economist, Italy Economist, China Economist, UK Economist, Senior Fixed Income Strategist, Macro investment writer. These roles are from London to Hong Kong in firms that genuinely value the contribution from economists.
We are also looking for Macro Sales (particularly Germany/France), Prop Traders for macro hedge funds (please provide detailed return data). Interesting skill sets within macro hedge funds are always worth discussion.
This is the City's only desk run by an ex-Economist, and interesting work examples, no matter how complex are also welcome with your CV.
