Job Summary
We are currently working with a leading financial institution in the GCC. Based in Riyadh they require a talented Economist or Senior Economist 3-7 yrs of experience who is also ideally native English speaker and preferably with knowledge about the Saudi economy/market. The right candidate would have strong writing skills and also be willing to relocate to Riyadh. The candidate will support the head on Micro-level analysis
Job Main Duties Responsibilities:
• Conduct economic analysis and aid in forecasting of key economic variables. Specific areas of interest for analysis will be growth, external trade, exchange rates, inflation, and monetary and fiscal policy and local equity market.
• Conduct sectoral/industrial research in areas of interest to our internal and external clients; sectors such as energy, construction and real estate.
• Produce short analytical research pieces working with other economists in the department
• Provide regular coverage of data events and commentary for internal and external clients.
• Organize and update economic databases and respond to queries in a timely manner;
• Prepare presentations and provide additional research support to other business units

Job Criteria
- Degree in Economics, Finance or equivalent gained from a reputable institution in the west.
- Masters in Economics preferred
- Minimum three years’ experience as an Economist
- Writing skills will be checked upon application
- Knowledge of GCC and Saudi Market
- Ideally Native English speaker
- Currently based in GCC preferred
