ED European Rate Sales
Global investment bank is looking to hire a top quality Rates sales person with a fairly broad level of experience (ie not focused on one particular country- type of client) to head up the European business out of London. The ideal candidate must be a top producer but also capable and experienced in running a team. This would be for the institutional business including both cash and derivative sales.
Responsibilities for Sales:
• Cash derivative interest rate sales.
• A substantial European client base (preferably buy-side clients)
• Must be capable of fulfilling any client requests in this space and have impeccable product - market knowledge.
• Business development, Sales and relationship building.
• Produce as well as manage the team.
Skills - Attributes required for Sales:
• Proven track record of revenue generated in this space
• Experience developing- building the European franchise
• Minimum 10 years industry experience
• Sound judgment skills and an ability to work on own initiative
• Ability to work under pressure and within an international environment
