ED level – Java Lead Developer, Listed Options, Futures, OTC Flow Derivatives, Hands on, Front Office, Hong Kong recruitment
Our client, a top-tier investment bank, is looking for a senior technologist (ED level) to lead the Asia Flow Derivative Sales and Trading team, covering listed options, futures, OTC flow derivatives (accumulators, var swap/vol swaps, vanilla options etc.) for the Asia Pacific Region.
The successful candidate will:
- Lead an existing small team covering the flow derivatives pricing and trading for AsiaPac
- Help drive the Derivatives Sales agenda globally and put together a coherent global plan for derivative sales technologies, including sales/trader work flow, client intelligence, client portfolio risk analytics, charting/reporting tools etc.
- Work with global counterparts to deliver the new Derivative Sales agenda in addition to existing projects work streams
- Leverage strong partnership with business leaders and proactively come up with suggestions/projects to improve the business performance
Mandatory Skills:
- Comprehensive understanding of flow derivative products and business
- Solid knowledge of Derivate Sales and Trading technologies, including pricing, trading, booking, client information management and risk management
- Solid technical skill in one or more of Java, C#, C++, .NET. on Linux/Windows platforms
- Strong leadership skills, being able to define and drive global agenda
- Strong communication skills, being able to effectively communicate with colleagues from Associate to senior MD levels, both in technology and business.
