Editor and Database Manager
Our client is currently recruiting for an Editor and Database Manager to join their busy and expanding team based in Oxfordshire. Working internationally within their field my client is renowned for excellence and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Formatting translations in a wide variety of languages
- Proofreading final translations for accuracy and completeness (this will not require language skills)
- Recruiting new translators and investigators into the company portfolio
- Managing and developing the company’s translation database
- Trouble Shooting issues for projects
Qualifications
- Degree in English/ Linguistics or related fields
- Experience of working as an editor
Skills
- High level of English
- Computer literate
- Experience using Desktop Publishing is an advantage
- 18 months+ editing experience
- Team player
- Excellent attention to detail
