ImpAct is an online investment and sales platform which supports our client advisors as they navigate through the complex financial world. The mission of ImpAct's editorial team is to make client advisors more successful in their interaction with clients. This is achieved by offering the firm's view on compelling news and connecting it to our best investment opportunities.
Key tasks and responsibilities include:
- Assessment of top financial and business news stories and writing of compelling short articles on a daily basis.
- Research (internal) on additional facts, which are relevant to investors.
- Conduct discussions with UBS analysts and product specialists.
Our ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:
- Fluent spoken written English – ideally native combined with several years of experience in business/financial journalism.
- Excellent Chinese oral and reading comprehension – ideally also Chinese writing skills.
- Proven excellent writing skills in plain, precise language (in English) and ability to identify compelling news.
- Knowledge of the financial and business landscape in Asia and familiarity with financial terms and concepts.
- Ability to complement journalism expertise with the authority and knowledge of research and product specialists within UBS.
- Talent to anticipate what our clients and advisors would like to know and ask the right questions to internal specialists.
