POSITION:
Head Teacher – Child and Family Study Center
Instructional Academic Staff

SALARY: $25,243 - $37,864

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: (Required at start of contract).
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Eligibility for Wisconsin License in Early Childhood Education.
Early Childhood Education teaching experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s degree in Education or related area.
Three years teaching experience in Early Childhood Education.
Certifiable in Early Childhood Special Education in Wisconsin.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Completion of EDUC 727 Supervision of Student Teachers, or equivalent.
Master’s in Education or related area completed by January, 2015.
Staff Health Report CFS-0054.
Criminal background check conducted in compliance with the Wisconsin Fair Employment Act.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Model evidence-based practices as a Head Teacher in the Child Family Study Center.
Provide leadership in assessing, planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum.
Supervise student teachers and practicum students.
Demonstrate continuous professional development.
Communicate and work collaboratively with university faculty/staff, families and the community.
Assist in promoting the Child and Family Study Center, School of Education, and UW-Stout.
