Educational Manager, K-12 Services Job in Bala Cynwyd 19004, Pennsylvania US
The College Board is conducting a search for an Educational Manager for K-12 Services who will join our Middle States Regional Staff in Bala Cynwyd, PA. This position combines knowledge of the K-12 educational environment with a career interest in developing and maintaining long-term relationships with schools, districts and state agencies in an effort to promote educational equity, access and excellence for all students.
The Educational Manager is responsible for managing K- 12 account relationships and support for regional clients, members and College Board partners. Primary responsibilities include:
- Managing account relationships for K- 12 clients at the school, district and state levels
- Participating in relationship planning activities with the College Board K- 12 service team
- Conducting or facilitating workshops, presentations, training and best-practices consulting for K - 12 clients
- Managing account activities such as maintaining records of user contact and reporting on progress toward regional goals
- Serving as a member of state government relations teams
- Supporting regional association and membership goals including governance activities related to regional council and regional forum.
- Maintaining a working knowledge of all College Board K - 12 products, services and assessments
- Assist in overall management of the unit, including creation, development and monitoring of the operating budget; supervise and evaluate the program-related activities of assigned support staff; serve as lead with direct responsibility for project management.
Ideal candidates will have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree with a Graduate or Professional degree preferred and a minimum of five to eight years of related and progressively responsible work experience in a managerial or professional position in education or a related field. They will have extensive knowledge of the K12 environment, demonstrated experience in training, project management, problem solving, marketing and "customer relationship management" (CRM). Familiarity with College Board Services required, and experience with these tools is preferred. Candidate must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Position requires up to 70% travel primarily within the Middle States region.
