EHR Data Systems Analyst, ePROS (grant funded)

The Department of Research at the nation's leading advocacy organization for children's healthcare has an unique opportunity for someone who has excellent technical, research and interpersonal skills. The qualified candidate will provide electronic technical support of EHR data systems for national research studies as well as manage the design and maintenance of the research-related databases for the electronic Pediatric Research in Office Settings (ePROS) network. Reporting to the Senior Research Associate, this individual will provide technical expertise of EHR data systems to the ePROS study team. They will be responsible for developing and managing study research databases developed in Microsoft Access. They will oversee the implementation of all standardized data systems, including creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures for data transfers, serving as a liason between vendors, collaborators, and the study team, and will work in collaboration with the data analysis team to ensure data integrity. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, health information technology, Social Science, or other related field (Master's degree preferred), at least 2 years experience with EHR data systems and conducting health services research. Candidates should have excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills, and must have experience with Microsoft Office products, including Access, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Candidates must have the ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting. Some travel may be required.
