To study, develop, recommend, implement and evaluate actions
related to regional, national, divisional and/or corporate ESH
law, guidelines and procedures, in order to ensure that
operational processes are in line in order to provide a healthy environment with minimal risks.

Main Results

1. EHS Strategy
To develop, implement and evaluate EHS strategy and budget of the company, in line with regional, national, divisional or corporate guidelines, procedures and/or law, in order to be able to advise Plant Management and Management.

2. Support
To support the organisation by coordinating deployment of a Management Environment Health and Safety System (MESH, ISO 14001, VCA) by investigating and analysing (potential) EHS issues, in the light of regional, national, divisional and/or corporate guidelines, procedures and/or law or on-going technical developments.

3. Auditing and monitoring
To monitor and audit EHS activities, procedures and guidelines (e.g. training, auditing of working places, response to accidents, management of chemicals etc.) in line with applicable procedures and law, in order to facilitate the company processes and ensure compliance to all applicable law or to be able to timely stop operational processes in order to prevent serious danger for environment, health or safety.
To initiate and facilitate EHS Management Review in order to assure continuous improvement in the field of EHS.

4. Licenses and permits
To pro-actively investigate necessity, apply for, monitor and timely renew all necessary EHS licenses and permits for the company, in line with regional or national law or on-going technical developments, in order to ensure company’s compliance to applicable law.

5. Communication
To represent the company towards (local) government in EHS issues, in line with authority level and code of conduct, in order to exchange and gather information.

6. Reporting
To report on a monthly basis to management about EHS performance indicators, projects and activities, in line with reporting structures, to assure that relevant information is at management’s disposal.

7. Administration
To administer all relevant information according to the company’s guidelines, in order to assure timely availability for management and colleagues.

Bachelors degree in engineering, business, industrial Technology with certificate of Higher Safety Knowledge (HVK)
Minimum of five 5 of experience in similar job
Understand business processes in relation to EHS
Knowledge of auditing, licenses and permits, VCA
Relevant regional, national, divisional or corporate guidelines, procedures, systems or law. English (o/w)
