A great opportunity is available to work with a leader and innovator in an Environmental Health and Safety capacity! Our client located in Mississauga is looking for a strong candidate to fill their need! We are looking for and individual who has strong legislative as well as hands on experience on the floor working with employees. The successful candidate will be responsible for working alongside employees and closely with management to ensure that everyone is working to ensure a safe working environment. Specifically you will be responsible for:
- Planning and implementing all EHS programs including (Lockout, Spill Response, WHMIS and Work Refusals)
- Managing the JHSEC in order to create a safe culture.
- Maintaining the 14001 Environmental system including audits, training and development and internal document system.
- All training of EHS programs to all levels of the organization.
We are looking for an individual who has a minimum of three years experience in a similar field working in a manufacturing organization coupled with completed education in Environmental Studies, Human Resources or Ergonomics/Kinesiology.
