For more information, visit www.cargill.com . Description Cargill Meat Solutions has an opportunity for an EHS Supervisor on 1st Shift in Springdale, AR. This role is responsible for facilitating the safety process for the facility. Job Specifications: Facilitates the EHS process for the Cargill Springdale, AR facility as defined by the EHS Manager Initiates and implements EHS management programs and processes for the plant to include supervisor training, employee EHS awareness, problem solving, etc. Responsible for regulatory compliance programs including EPA, OSHA and DOT safety regulations as applicable. This includes program development, training activities, record keeping and accident investigation when necessary Work with other CVAM Operations to coordinate efforts and maximize efficiencies Data analysis to identify injury trends and create aggressive risk reduction plans to eliminate injuries and property damage Contractor Safety Coordination Conduct routine inspections/audits-identify hazards and facilitate corrective action in a timely manner Administer all EHS requirements for the complex Qualifications Required: 6 months Supervisory/Management experience Effective and proven communication and interpersonal skills Must possess the ability to build peer, subordinate, and other level relationships within the organization Knowledge of DOT, OSHA, EPA laws and regulations First Aid Training Computer literacy Prefer: Bachelor's Degree Degree in Safety Management 2 or more years Supervisory/Management experience Cargill is an EEO/AA employer.
