An experienced Electrical Design Engineer, Instrumentation Controls is sought by the projects team.
The role:
EIC engineering assignments including complex detail design, specification work, and commissioning in accordance with the requirements of the Project contractual scope of work, applicable standards and regulations.
A semi-autonomous position, may be nominated as 'Lead' EIC Engineer on projects and be responsible for all EIC engineering deliverables and activities including staff supervision and budget management.
Skills and experience:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Strong, proven experience in electrical IC designs including:
- Preparation of specifications, data sheets and associated calculations.
- On-site inspections, vendor FAT's, construction, and commissioning activities
- Preparation of technical packages, scope of work documentation, tech specs, vendor doc requirement lists for 3rd party equipment or services
- Review of 3rd party proposals
- Significant industrial experience in either Power generation, Chemical process plants, and/or Pressure vessels and transfer stations
- An understanding of technical aspects and interfaces of multi-disciplined projects.
- Sufficient experience and skills to oversee drafting staff
- Ability to liaise with clients, suppliers and co-workers in a professional manner.
