Job Description Job Classification: Contract Maintain all facility and machine electrical and instrumentation equipment in a continuous production environment. 1. Perform all maintenance functions in a safe and healthy manner. 2. Utilize PLC and DCS operator and engineering stations to modify and troubleshoot machine control systems. 3. Maintain and troubleshoot all facility and machine electrical systems up to 2300 VAC. 4. Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance functions. 5. Configure, troubleshoot and repair variable frequency drives, soft starts and motor starters up to 2300 VAC. 6. Setup, calibrate and troubleshoot temperature, level, pressure, pH, flow, speed, conductivity and consistency transmitters. 7. Calibrate, maintain and rebuild valves, actuators and positioners. 8. Interpret and electronically modify PIDs and electrical schematic drawings as directed. 9. Complete all documentation and parts ordering using a computerized maintenance management system. 10. Attend training as directed by the company to increase equipment knowledge and technical skills. 1. High school education or equivalent. 2. Three or more years of industrial electrical and/or instrumentation experience. 3. Strong troubleshooting expertise of analog and digital controls. 4. Good reading, writing and verbal skills. 5. Must be self-directed and able to work with minimum supervision. 6. Must be able to work odd shifts and to be on call as company needs dictate. 7. Must have better than average computer skills. 8. Must have a positive attitude. 9. Flexibility and willingness to change with conditions. 10. Must be able to safely move in and around the equipment to repair and troubleshoot. Also, must be willing to perform general industrial electrical including running conduit, pulling wire, installing cable trays and general construction tasks.
