This reputable department is at the forefront of some highly topical government issues at the moment.
Due to maternity leave, a vacancy has arisen for an EL1 Financial Accountant to commence as soon as possible for a minimum 12 month contract.
We are looking for an established EL1 Financial Accountant who has lead a team to deliver a set of federal government financial statements. The successful candidate will have 4 direct reports who take care of departmental/administered reporting and assets.
You will be supported by an EL2 who is technically proficient and easy to get along with as well being surrounded by brand new offices and a culture that has a real team focus.
Due to the imminent departure of the current EL1, we are looking for applications from suitable candidates that are available to commence as soon as possible.
CA/CPA qualifications will be highly regarded.
Australian citizenship is essential to be taken into consideration for this role, no security clearance is required.
