Our client is a leading Global Food and Beverage manufacturer and have maintained their market leading position by offering a high quality product range as well as outstanding service and reliability. They are currently seeking a Maintenance Manager with strong automation experience to strengthen their engineering team.
Job Description
As Maintenance Manager you will report directly to the Group Engineering Manager . The successful candidate will be electrically biased with a strong knowledge of SCADA and PLC's. You will lead and develop the Maintenance team and deliver upon capital projects as well as PPM at a highly automated manufacturing facility. You will have a background which is heavily biased towards Electrical Engineering and Automation and will utilise your Manufacturing, Engineering and Leadership skills to focus on the development of systems and processes to the benefit of the production environment, and take responsibility for engineering performance, people, process and systems improvements. Exposure to Meat, Poultry, Dairy or Baking would be seen as a distinct advantage.
The Successful Applicant
The successful applicant will have:
- Demonstrated success as a Maintenance Manager in an Food and Beverage business
- Comprehensive Robotics and Automation expertise.
- Tertiary Qualifications in Electrical Engineering Proven experience in highly automated environments.
- A track record in leading teams and delivering projects within a manufacturing business.
- Strong leadership skills credentials
- Demonstrated organisational, planning problem solving skills
- Strong ability to drive cultural change
- The ability to work well under pressure and have a positive outlook and a professional demeanour.
