Candidate:
You are an experienced Electrical Detail Design Drafter seeking an exciting challenge within a well established organisation focusing on control system solutions across a variety of markets including the buoyant mining sector and oil and gas. You have a thorough understanding of designing electrical systems, across a variety of industries. Some key parts of the role are as follows.
- Knowledge of electrical standards regulations.
- Superb in the use of Auto Cad .
- Production of drawings from design sketches.
- Design experience of electrical systems - Mining applications.
- Teamwork and good communication skills.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Be self motivated, possess high energy and drive to meet the needs of a fast paced job.
- Attention to details with all documentation, processes high personal standards.
Position:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be aware of the processes that need to be stringently followed. Some key functions of this role will be
- Providing high level technical input for all Electrical design drawings
- Updating and modifications of detailed engineering drawings for electrical systems.
- Ensuring project work complies with conditions and parameters set out in project scope of works and design criteria.
- Responsible for layout out of designs as directed by the Design Supervisor
- Liaising with internal design colleagues to ensure client goals are met and even exceeded
- Develop design and detail drawings and documents according company standards
Qualifications:
You will come from either a trade or engineering background, ideally with a Mining background and have had the relevant Electrical drafting experience. You will also have exceptional proven design skills and show great attention to detail.
